What Stories Would They Tell? What Would We Learn?

Old objects fascinate me. Whenever I have lived in old houses or have visited them, I fantasise about who has walked the same steps. What stories could each room tell? I like to walk around antique shops for the same reason.

I unexpectedly saw this typewriter today in a themed bar in Zante, Greece. I was not only intrigued by its keyboard, distinctly different to a UK one, but I also imagined, what could it tell me? What did it see and learn over the course of it’s working life?

Dear Typewriter

One of my biggest regrets is not being bold enough to ask my own grandparents more questions about their lives. I know a little but not as much as I would like.

As I get older I have become more curious, I ask more questions. I appreciate the wisdom of our elders but also the wisdom of people half my age. I love to hear and read their stories, I love to learn from them both equally.
