How To Become A Winner

It’s Simple But Hard

There are a lot of ways to win this game of life.

There are successful people out there who have never read a single book or who have never spend an hour inside a college auditorium.

Some billionaires have never sent a single email in their life. Others have never worn a suit and tie.

Success comes in many shapes and forms.

But most winners have the same three character traits.

They’re essential to winning.

One of those essential traits is gratefulness.

Most successful people truly realize that they’re living an amazing life and they are extremely grateful for that.

In the past I had trouble being grateful. I felt miserable and I thought there was nothing to be grateful for.

I was totally wrong.

Because all of us should be grateful for something.

You are reading this.

That means that you woke up this morning. You opened your eyes and were given another shot at excellence.

If nothing else, you should be grateful for that.

I’m grateful for every waking second now. Or at least I try to be.

Being grateful is amazing.

There’s a second thing I noticed.

Most high-achievers are positive.

And it definitely makes sense if you think about it:

Who else would create every day without getting paid for it?

Only positive people would do that. Negative people would not even want to entertain the thought.

It takes a special kind of person to build something out of nothing. Because it’s infinitely easier to destroy than to create.

But nevertheless, awesome things are still getting built every second of the day.

Positive people are using their infinite capacity to create and are building projects that make the world a better place.

Positivity is another essential character trait.

The third essential trait is the most important one.

It’s a trait a lot of people are missing these days and it’s why those people never win in the long term.

Because they’re not truthful.

It’s very easy to fool yourself and it’s even easier to fool others.

It’s easy to lie to yourself and convince yourself that you’re doing the right thing.

Being truthful all the time is much harder.

Only a small percentage of the population can handle the truth.

But those people are going to win on the long term. Because on a long enough time-frame, the truth always prevails.

I’m obsessed now by the truth. It’s the only thing I really care about now.

The truth will set me free.

Winning this game of life is simple:

It’s one of those things that are simple to understand but much harder to live by.

But hey, nobody said life would be easy.
