Understanding Love

Life has brought me to this point of view;

It is human when we want to change other’s, we will use our judging point of view. But, when we try to change our behavior, we will seek knowledge to understand ourselves better. Thus, it will also lead us to a place where we are able to understand others better than before.

Speaking about understanding, how to understand people with our minds is totally different from understanding people with our hearts. Understanding that comes from the heart called acceptance. This acceptance will guide your mind to seek how to understand, even in the worst-case situation.

Our mind tends to trick us with its illusion, but the heart has no illusion. Whether you accept or not. It won’t give you an illusion that you think you accept and understand others.

It is the mind that leads us to the illusion which we will use as denial or alibi. But we cannot truly accept others if we didn’t accept ourselves. It will lead us to the road of attachment.

When we attach to others, our minds will find a way to build up some fantasy. Thus, we must understand that attachment is one sort of longing within our hearts. Longing to be understood and accept by our own selves. This is why we need to accept our selves first. And after accept ourselves, we will love ourselves completely which will lead us to understand ourselves better.

When we reach the point of accepting ourselves, we will thank God for everything that He gives that leads us to what we are.

That is why love is the best medicine of all.

You can’t love others with your head, you only love with heart. That’s it.
